On July 26, 2023, UMC detected suspicious activity within its computer network prompting them to secure their systems and launch an investigation. United Medical Centers is a healthcare services provider based out of Del Rio, Texas that operates nine locations, providing the following services: pediatric, OB/GYN, ENT, family medicine, internal 
medicine, podiatry, and dental services. UMC also offers in-house services, which include laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and family planning services. UMC serves patients in Eagle Pass, Del Rio, Brackettville and the surrounding communities.
