According to the Attorney General of Maine, the Trionfo Solutions data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The company determined that an unauthorized party accessed portions of its IT network between December 4, 2023 and December 6, 2023. Trionfo secured its systems and launched an investigation that confirmed that the unauthorized party accessed files containing information that Trionfo has in its possession in connection with services it provides for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and MetLife Legal Plans. Trionfo Solutions reviewed the compromised files to determine what information was leaked and which consumers were impacted. On August 26, 2024, Trionfo Solutions sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
Trionfo Solutions, LLC is a software company headquartered in Itasca, Illinois that creates software for the insurance industry. This includes programs that create quotes, compare plans, and enable the management of employee benefits.
