On March 4, 2024, the company learned of unusual activity within its computer network prompting TFC to secure its systems and launch an investigation. It was confirmed that an unauthorized party accessed portions of its IT network containing confidential consumer information. Title Financial Corporation reviewed the compromised files to determine what information was leaked and which consumers were impacted. On August 27, 2024, Title Financial Corporation sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
