September 8 – The Maids International (“TMI”) data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. are investigating the data breach that was reported after The Maids International was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Maids International data breach resulted in the Social Security numbers of certain individuals being compromised.

What Happened As A Result Of The Maids International Data Breach?

Data Breach AlertAccording to the Massachusetts Attorney General, The Maids International, LLC (“TMI”) reported a data breach after suspicious activity was detected on January 22, 2024. In response, TMI disconnected its network and began a thorough investigation with third-party security experts.

On April 18, 2024, TMI confirmed that an unauthorized party accessed its computer network, compromising files with sensitive consumer data. The breach may have exposed information including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, and protected health information.

On September 12, 2024, TMI sent data breach notification letters to those affected by the breach, detailing which personal information was compromised.
