According to the Attorney General of California, the Strive Medical data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On January 31, 2024, the company determined that an employee email account may have been subject to unauthorized access. Strive secured its network and launched an investigation. It was confirmed that an unauthorized party accessed an employee’s email account between January 29, 2024 and January 31, 2024. Strive Medical reviewed the compromised files to determine what information was leaked and which consumers were impacted. On August 28, 2024, Strive Medical sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
Strive HoldCo, LLC is a medical supplies company based out of Irving, Texas that designs and manufactures urological, wound care, ostomy, and incontinence supplies. Strive operates more than 15 distribution centers across the country.
