August 19 – The data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. are investigating the siParadigm data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The siParadigm data breach resulted in the sensitive personal information of certain individuals being compromised.

What Happened?

According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights, the siParadigm data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. siParadigm experienced a data security incident involving a “hacking / IT incident” of a network server. Since siParadigm filed with the HHS-OCR, this does not allow a list of the type of information that was compromised. siParadigm will send out data breach letters to affected individuals once it completes its investigation. These letters will provide a complete list of what information has been compromised for the individuals who were affected.
