On February 3, 2024, the company detected suspicious activity within its computer system. Rebound Orthopedics secured its system and launched an investigation. It was confirmed that an unauthorized party was able to access the company’s IT network on February 2, 2024. It was also determined that the unauthorized party accessed and stole confidential patient information stored on Rebound Orthopedics’ computer network. On March 7, 2024, Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
