On June 25, 2024, the company determined that an unauthorized party accessed its computer network prompting RSNA to secure its network and launch an investigation. It was confirmed that an unauthorized party accessed portions of its network containing 1099 forms between June 20, 2024 and June 26, 2024. The Radiological Society of North America reviewed the compromised files to determine what information was leaked and which consumers were impacted. On August 28, 2024, Radiological Society of North America sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
