September 21 – The Pharm-Pacc data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Pharm-Pacc data breach resulted in the names, Social Security numbers, addresses, and medical information of certain individuals being compromised.
According to the Attorney General of Montana, Pharm-Pacc reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On March 24, 2023, the company secured its network against suspicious activity it had detected and began an investigation with the assistance of a cybersecurity firm.
On May 23, 2023, Pharm-Pacc confirmed that its data had been accessible to an unauthorized party. At this point, a continuing investigation worked to uncover what information had been leaked and which customers had been impacted. Pharm-Pacc hired another company to review the compromised files to determine what information was leaked and which consumers were impacted.This investigation concluded on July 14, 2023. The potentially breached information varies from person to person, but includes:

date of birth
account number
medical record number
dates of service
Address
driver’s license number
medical device identifier
taxpayer identification number
telephone numbers
email address
medical image
license plate number
digital signature
On September 14th, Pharm-Pacc sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
