What Happened?

According to the Attorney General of Iowa, the Oak View Group data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On November 26, 2023, the company detected unusual activity within its computer network prompting OVG to take its systems offline and launch an investigation. It was confirmed that an unauthorized party had gained access to certain parts of its IT network, including files containing confidential information related to employees of the company. On January 10, 2024, Oak View Group sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
