January 31 – The data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the LoanPro data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The LoanPro data breach resulted in the sensitive information of certain individuals being compromised.

What Happened?

According to the Attorney General of Massachusetts, the LoanPro data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On December 20, 2023, the company learned that it had experienced a data security incident which appeared to have affected certain companies that do business with LoanPro, including Above Lending. It does not appear that hackers were able to access any computer system belonging to Above Lending and that all compromised data was stored on LoanPro’s systems. On January 19, 2024, Above Lending sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the LoanPro breach.
