November 26 – The LCPtracker data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after unauthorized access to the company’s online storage environment. While the specific types of compromised data have not been publicly disclosed in the California Attorney General filing, LCPtracker has confirmed that confidential consumer information was removed from their network during the incident.

What Happened As A Result Of The LCPtracker Data Breach?

According to the California Attorney General’s office, LCPtracker discovered suspicious activity within their online storage account environment on August 20, 2024. The company’s investigation, conducted with third-party cybersecurity experts, revealed that an unauthorized party had access to their network between August 14 and August 20, 2024. During this period, the unauthorized party successfully extracted files containing confidential consumer information.

On November 22, 2024, LCPtracker began sending personalized data breach letters to affected individuals, detailing the specific information that was compromised in their individual cases.
