What Happened?

According to the Attorney General of California, the Keystone Pacific Property Management data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On December 17, 2023, the company detected suspicious activity within its computer network prompting Keystone to secure its systems and launch an investigation. It was confirmed that an unauthorized party accessed portions of its IT network and acquired files containing confidential consumer information. Keystone Pacific Property Management reviewed the compromised files to determine what information was leaked and which consumers were impacted. On August 21, 2024, Keystone Pacific Property Management sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
