February 17 – The American Renal Management LLC d/b/a Innovative Renal Care data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. Innovative Renal Care has indicated that sensitive consumer information was accessed during the incident including name, address, date of birth, Social Security number, driver’s license or state identification number, financial account information, taxpayer identification number, electronic signature, health insurance information, medical billing/claim information, medical diagnosis or condition information, medical prescription information, medical record number, medical treatment information, patient account number, and patient identification number.
According to the Massachusetts Attorney General’s office, Innovative Renal Care experienced a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to their computer network. The data breach was initially detected on February 29, 2024, when Innovative Renal Care identified suspicious activity within their systems.
After securing their systems, Innovative Renal Care launched an investigation that revealed an unauthorized party had accessed certain parts of their computer network between February 21, 2024, and March 1, 2024. During this period, the unauthorized actor was able to access and copy files containing confidential consumer information.
On February 14, 2025, Innovative Renal Care sent out data breach letters to affected individuals on behalf of impacted dialysis centers and providers to individuals directly whose information was involved. The company is also providing certain individuals with complimentary credit monitoring services.
Innovative Renal Care, operating under American Renal Management LLC, is a specialized healthcare provider headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. The company focuses on nephrology services, managing a network of dialysis centers across multiple locations. Their facilities provide both in-center hemodialysis treatments and support for home dialysis patients.
