According to the Attorney General of Massachusetts, the GoodTemps data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. Suspicious activity was recently detected within its computer network prompting GoodTemps to secure its system and launch an investigation. It was confirmed that an unauthorized actor was able to access portions of its computer network, including files containing confidential consumer information. GoodTemps sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
