The FBinsure data breach resulted in the sensitive information of certain individuals being compromised.
According to the Attorney General of Massachusetts, the FBinsure data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The company detected a possible data security incident and launched an investigation to learn more about the extent of the incident. It was confirmed that an unauthorized actor was able to access confidential consumer information that had been entrusted to the company. On February 20, 2024, FBinsure sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
FBinsure is an insurance company based out of Taunton, Massachusetts that specializes in business insurance, personal insurance, benefits, event insurance, and claims advisement. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Patriot Growth 
Insurance Services, a large insurance company based out of Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.
