According to the Attorney General of California, the Enroll Confidently data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. Enroll Confidently identified the suspicious activity within its computer network on February 13, 2024. They investigated and discovered that an unauthorized party had accessed the company’s IT network on February 13, 2024. Later, it was known that the unauthorized party gained access to certain files containing confidential consumer information. On August 16, 2024, Enroll Confidently sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
