According to the Attorney General of Massachusetts, the Dignity Health – St. Rose Dominican Hospital de Lima data breach was reported after they were affected by a recent cyber security attack at R1 RCM. On November 17, 2023, R1 learned that Dignity Health patients’ sensitive information was in the possession of an unauthorized party. The company launched an investigation and confirmed that an unauthorized party was able to access information belonging to patients of Dignity Health. In March 2024, R1 RCM sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
