October 29 – The CUSO Financial Services, LP (“CUSO”) data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. CUSO Financial Services launched an investigation immediately upon detecting suspicious activity on January 19, 2024. It was revealed that unauthorized access occurred between December 19, 2023, and January 19, 2024. After a thorough review process, the company began notifying affected individuals on October 28, 2024, through personalized data breach notification letters.
CUSO Financial Services is a broker-dealer headquartered in San Diego, California. As a subsidiary of Atria Wealth, recently acquired by LPL Financial in October 2024, CUSO specializes in providing financial services to credit unions and banks. The company employs over 670 professionals and generates annual revenue of approximately $354 million.
