October 17 – The Clayton Properties Group data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The CPG vendor data breach resulted in the names, Social Security numbers, addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, and driver’s license numbers of certain individuals being compromised.

What Happened As A Result Of The Clayton Properties Group Data Breach?

According to the notice filed with the Massachusetts Attorney General, CPG reported a data breach after they recently discovered that one of their vendors experienced a data security incident. This incident allowed an unauthorized party to access confidential information that had been provided to CPG. Upon learning of the breach, CPG worked with the unnamed vendor to implement additional security measures. They also reviewed the compromised files to determine what information was exposed and which individuals were affected. On October 11, 2024, CPG sent out data breach notification letters to those individuals whose information was impacted by the vendor’s data security incident.
