February 20 – The Claris Vision Holdings data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The investigation revealed that unauthorized access to Claris Vision’s systems occurred between July 10, 2024 and August 5, 2024. After discovering the security incident, the company launched an investigation which confirmed on December 18, 2024 that patient information had been compromised.
On February 14, 2025, Claris Vision Holdings sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach. The breach impacted patients from multiple affiliated facilities including Eye Health Associates Inc., Eye Health Associates of RI Inc., Koch Eye Associates LLP, Candescent Eye Surgicenter LLC (St. James Surgery Center), and Candescent Eye Health Surgicenter LLC (Greater New Bedford Surgery Center).
Claris Vision Holdings, LLC is a healthcare organization founded in 2011 through the consolidation of several established New England ophthalmology practices. Based in Massachusetts, the company operates as a management entity for multiple affiliated vision care facilities.
