According to the Attorney General of Massachusetts, the Center for Digestive Health data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The company detected suspicious activity within its computer network prompting the Center for Digestive Health to secure its network and launch an investigation. The investigation confirmed that an unauthorized actor accessed the organization’s computer network, including files containing confidential patient information between April 1, 2024 and April 14, 2024. On May 29, 2024, Center for Digestive Health sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
