March 5 – The Birch Medical data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. are investigating the data breach that was reported after Birch Medical was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Birch Medical data breach resulted in the names and medical information of certain individuals being compromised.
According to the Attorney General of California, Birch Medical reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cybersecurity attack. In September 2024, Birch Medical discovered that unauthorized parties may have accessed certain files on its computer network. In response, the company launched an investigation to determine the scope of the incident and whether any consumer information was compromised. While the investigation could not confirm whether files were accessed, it did reveal that some of the exposed files contained confidential consumer information.
On February 27, 2025, Birch Medical sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
