On December 13, 2023, the company learned of a data security incident impacting its IT network prompting BioMatrix to block the unauthorized access, secure its systems, and launch an investigation. The investigation confirmed that an unauthorized actor accessed the company’s IT network on December 8, 2023. On July 16, 2024, BioMatrix Specialty Pharmacy sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
Injectable Therapy Services, Inc. is a specialty pharmacy based out of Van Nuys, California that was acquired by BioMatrix Specialty Pharmacy, a specialty infusion provider with a headquarters in Totowa, New Jersey. BioMatrix offers infusion therapies through a network of nine locations
