March 26 – The Beacon Health System data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Beacon Health System data breach resulted in the exposure of patients’ full names, dates of birth, driver’s license numbers, Social Security numbers, medical information, and health insurance information of certain individuals being compromised.
According to the website notices posted by Beacon Health System, the organization reported two separate data breaches that affected their patients, though the breaches occurred at third-party vendors rather than within Beacon Health’s own network. The first breach occurred at Restorix Health, Inc., where an unauthorized party gained access to an employee’s email account between May 7, 2024 and May 29, 2024. The second breach occurred at CPS Solutions, LLC, where an unauthorized party accessed and acquired confidential data from an employee’s email account between December 2, 2024 and December 4, 2024.
On March 26, 2025, Beacon Health System posted notices on its website informing patients about both data breaches. The notification letters were previously sent to affected individuals by the third-party vendors, with Restorix Health informing Beacon Health of the incident on December 18, 2024, and CPS Solutions notifying Beacon Health on February 10, 2025.
