What Happened?

According to the Attorney General of Montana, the Amgen data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On June 30, 2023, the company learned that certain Embark Application users reported that their profile displayed incorrect information. Amgen launched an investigation and confirmed that certain users were able to view the information of others between June 3, 2023 and July 31, 2023. This was due to a coding error. On August 23, 2023, Amgen sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
