August 16 – The data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. are investigating the Ambulnz data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Ambulnz data breach resulted in the below information of patients of Jefferson Health, Main Line Health, Mount Sinai Health System, and UCHealth being compromised:

  • names,
  • Social Security numbers,
  • dates of birth,
  • addresses,
  • and medical information

What Happened?

According to the Attorney General of California, the Ambulnz data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On April 22, 2024, the company discovered unusual activity within its IT network prompting Ambulnz to secure its systems and launch an investigation. It was confirmed that an unauthorized party accessed its computer network between April 21, 2024 and April 22, 2024. Those affected include patients who were transported by Ambulnz, as well as patients of: Jefferson Health, Main Line Health, Mount Sinai Health System, and UCHealth. Ambulnz reviewed the compromised files to determine what information was leaked and which consumers were impacted. Between June 21, 2023 and August 13, 2024, Ambulnz sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
