September 8 – The Altman Plants data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. are investigating the data breach that was reported after the Altman Plants was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Altman Plants data breach resulted in the Social Security numbers, names, financial information, and payment methods of certain individuals being compromised.
According to the Texas Attorney General, Altman Plants detected suspicious activity on its network on September 11, 2023. The investigation revealed that an unauthorized party accessed files containing sensitive consumer data.
The leaks compromised a wide range of consumer data types, the most important being Social Security numbers and names. However, the breach also compromised payment method information, medical history, usernames and passwords, and various types of personal identifiable information.
Altman Plants completed its investigation on July 2, 2024. Data breach notification letters were sent to affected individuals on September 18, 2024.
